Marriage Proposal Photography - FAQ

1.  How does the surprise proposal process work?

We make plans together to arrange a day, place, and time! I will share my recommendations with you, especially regarding the location and the best time of day, since I know the town in every aspect!  We exchange photos, maps, and detailed instructions about how to get to the selected spot. As the day gets closer, I’ll remind you of all the important details and share with you info on my outfit of the day and my live location once I am on the spot! Keeping everything a top secret! Sounds good? 

2. What locations do you recommend for a surprise proposal shoot in Barcelona?

There are many amazing places to propose in Barcelona! Let me know what kind of location you have in mind, and I can share my suggestions with you! 

In case you can’t make up your mind, I may also share some sample photos of my previous proposals so you can get a better idea of how it’ll look in that location.

3. How can you help me with planning the proposal?

I will suggest great locations, the best times, and lighting conditions for photography. I can also arrange a videographer if you would like the moment captured in a video.

We will bring Catalan champagne and glasses for you to celebrate after the proposal moment! 

And if you would like me to pick up flowers for you, I could arrange that as well for an extra cost. 

As well as recommend musicians if you would like to have live music for the occasion.  And if you want some extra decoration, balloons, or any kind of additional set-up, I can recommend some vendors who specialize in proposals.

4. Are you LGBTQIA+ friendly? 

Yes, I am! Looking through my previous proposal shoots and weddings, you’ll see many LGBTQIA+ love stories I’ve had the honor of capturing. You may also check the reviews on my Google account to read their feedback!

9. Any tips for the proposal moment? 

First things first, don’t rush! It’s my job to be on standby, so there’s no rush in kneeling down or starting your speech. Before you propose, I would also recommend removing sunglasses or cellphones in hand. Also, try your best to get in a good position; parallel to the background and completely side view so that I can capture both of your facial expressions.

10. How do you ensure discretion during the shoot?

I’ve successfully captured many surprise proposals and mastered the art of pretending. 😉 I usually just wear something casual, blend in with other people, and pretend to be a tourist taking photos around. 

As for my camera, I usually switch the settings to the silent shooter, if possible, so you don’t hear the clicks. 

However, trust me, once someone is being proposed to, they never wonder or look around. They are in a “here-and-now” bubble in the rush of emotions, completely ignoring the surroundings! 

11. What happens right after I propose?

I usually approach you as soon as you give me a sign to come closer after the proposal. I introduce myself and congratulate you, offering you a bottle of champagne to celebrate. And whenever you feel ready, we can start taking engagement photos in the surrounding locations. I will guide you through the process, and once you feel you have enough variety, I will leave. After that, you proceed with the final payment, and I’ll share with you the online gallery photos via email within the agreed timeframe. 

12. Do you also offer video services? 

I offer a photo & video package, which includes a videographer to capture the proposal. In this package, there will be a 30-minute photo and video session, which will result into a 30-second reel that you’ll receive within a week after the session. 

I will coordinate all the details of our plans with the videographer so you can only talk to me to make it easier for you. 

13. What is the payment process, and do you require a deposit to secure the booking?

Yes, I require a downpayment to secure the date for you. I will email you the payment details. The pending balance must be paid after the proposal before the final delivery of the photos. 

14. How long does it take to receive the photos after the proposal?

For my standard proposal packages, photos are available within 7 days after the proposal.

However, I have an “Extra Fast Ninja Photographer” package with a fast delivery option. With this package, you’ll receive the edited photos within 24 hours after the proposal.

15. Can you accommodate special requests for the shoot?

Of course, I always try to help you arrange the best plan according to your situation and special needs. So, whether it is a pushchair, wheelchair, etc., we can always find a suitable plan for you!
