Kelly & Jeff – Romantic Pre-Wedding Photoshoot in Gothic Quarter
There are places you may have visited hundreds of times and they still get you absorbed by their beauty over and over again.
The historic center of Barcelona is one of these places which keeps me amazed. Those majestic buildings, little squares, and narrow alleys remember centuries of Barcelona’s history.
And the architecture, the light, and the colors are just perfect settings for a photo session, it gives the photos a unique atmosphere. I love to go there in early mornings when the city is still quiet, the streets are empty and the sun is low, these are the perfect conditions for an intimate and undisturbed photo session.
As it was that morning I met Kelly and Jeff for their pre-wedding photoshoot. They were getting married back in Singapore, but they had wanted to have some pre-wedding photos taken in their favorite city. Well, it always seems to me unfair that you can wear a white wedding dress and be a bride just for one day, so I like this kind of thinking. I would dress like a bride from time to time as well. I mean, it is a wonderful feeling; you look gorgeous, everybody is complimenting you. I wouldn’t limit it just for one day. So totally supporting Kelly’s idea! She even woke up around 5 a.m. to have her make-up and hair done by a professional stylist, Laura, who came to her hotel to do her magic. And Kelly just looked stunning.
Kelly and Jeff, they both looked very lovely and it was a real joy to walk with them that morning through the streets of Barcelona and capture this special occasion into my photographs.
